Almost every college student has either eaten a cup noodle at 2am or seen someone who has. These simple instant noodles are the staple quick bite of convenience. All you need after buying these cups or even sometimes bowls is hot water and some chopsticks. It’s that simple! So it’s no wonder these have been a staple in a lot of anime’s and in irl peoples homes.

Now I’ve seen more of Maruchan ramen growing up and many of times have I seen kids catch these on fire by forgetting to put water in them before putting them in the microwave. Which is weird because how do you forget to do the only step besides opening it and putting it in the microwave. Like the Cup noodles these are only around $2.00.
3. Shin Korean Spicy Raymun
Now this one is not Japanese, but I’ve seen and heard a lot of people say this is one of the best instant spicy ramen. This is one of the most popular spicy ramens in Korea and the price ranges from $0.94 to $2.30 in some places for a small cup of the soup.
The Instant Noodles have so many different brands out there and this was just to name some staples, but one of the most useful things to do with these types of food is bulk buy as they can sometimes take years to expire. You can buy 2-packs, 12-packs, to even 34-packs of these ramens. Thats the beauty of these simple little things.
I wasn’t huge on soup or ramen before, but after getting to college and having to learn to live on my own on a budget and living in a dorm with no way to cook meals late at night you learn the greatness that is instant noodles.
